Since I had become aware that Disneyland exists, its tagline has been “The Happiest Place on Earth.” But when I first went to Disneyland in Paris back in 2014, I thought the tagline “Where Magic Happens” fits better as its tagline – it’s just my opinion, so Walt Disney in heaven, please do not take it to heart.
Disneyland is a magical place. From the Disney characters meeting and greeting its guests to the design of the castles and different parks and rides, it truly is a magical place.
What makes it more magical? It was when I walked in there that my pure and innocent heart would not stop thumping like crazy. I felt like a kid opening a beautifully wrapped gift on Christmas day.
In 2018, I went to Disneyland for the second time, but this time in Hong Kong. It was scorching hot when we went there, and it was in May. But despite the heat and feeling of being baked in the oven, I still had a wonderful time.
Then last year, in June, we went back once again. It was warm, but it was also raining. I know! Let’s say it together, “that suck!” But the rain did not stop us from enjoying the magical Disneyland. The rain actually made the other part of the park much more mysterious and enchanting – like these two, right?
Also, the rain gave us the VIP treatment (no lines) with some Disney characters in their meet and greet stations. Aren’t we lucky?
The only downside with the weather that day was that we missed the Paint the Night parade. Well, we were informed that it was canceled. But overall, we had a great time, and I got lots of goodies from their souvenir shops!
Here are some pictures that my friend, Jessa took during our Disney adventure.
Have you been to Disneyland? Do you also think it was magical? Who is your favorite Disney character?
Disney tip: Come extra early, so you can take lots of pictures with fewer people in them. And also, you get to meet and greet Mickey and Minnie Mouse! Yay to my innocent heart!
Thank you for reading my (not-so) enchanting post about the Happiest Place on Earth!
